The care home was fully refurbished in 2010 and features 32 beds within spacious single en-suite bedrooms, with opulence in the design and an attention to detail that is unmatched among other care homes in Middlesbrough. We value our residents incredibly highly at Loxley Chase Care Home, and that is evident in the beautiful surroundings and professional residential dementia and elder care our staff provide.
Every bedroom within the nursing home includes an array of amenities for the ones you love. These features include a wall mounted plasma TV, complete with a Freeview system that provides a selection of over 100 channels.
Beautiful Views and Fantastic Food
Loxley Chase Care Home is known for its fabulous residential dementia care and contains two secure gardens on its grounds, one to the front and one to the rear of the premises. Beautiful to look at and relax in, you can also find a themed dementia garden as part of our residential dementia care offerings and respite care we provide.
Alongside our main restaurant within the care home, we also offer a second bistro located in the Whitby Room. The Whitby Room is a rare gem to find within a rest home, and features a small front room lounge with sensory water feature overlooking the beautiful crescent garden. This makes it ideal for residents of all ages and requirements, and adds to the eclectic mix of elder care we provide.

Generous Space and Facilities
Loxley Chase provides generous day areas for residents with lots of activities and amenities on offer. These include a well-stocked library, an activity area, and a small feature cinema in the Whitby room. Here, residents can enjoy their favourite movies and relax, rolling back the years in sublime comfort with maximum enjoyment. Not only this, but we also provide a hairdressing salon for our residents so they can look as good as they feel when they’re in our care.
The principal day rooms include the Orangery Lounge, which boasts a hearing loop system for the hard of hearing. This space also leads onto the sun terrace which features a beautiful water fountain.
